I haven&#039;t tried it. I have never received a docx or other ooxml file so have never needed to but I&#039;m sure others might find this helpful.</description>

		<description>True, but my point is, it does provide a workaround. Of course, it is not meant to be a perfect replacement for M$ Office, but it will save you hundreds of pounds whenever you need to work with Open XML documents.

I do agree that ideally, the documents should be in ODF.</description>

That looks interesting. Although it is for converting from Microsoft&#039;s current docx type formats. This is actually NOT {D}IS29500 however.</description>
